In my work I seek to excite and nurture a sense of wonder and connection to the world around us by drawing the viewer into a new experience that shifts the centre of the universe away from the human perspective often using scale to confound a viewer’s expectations and have them reassess that which is familiar to them. I am interested in the sense of wonder and hunger for discovery that drives scientists and artists to examine the world in new ways.

Acknowledgement of Country

I respectfully acknowledge the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung people of the Kulin Nation, the traditional custodians of the land on which I live, work and make art. This is Stolen Country, the sovereignty of which was never ceded.

I pay my respects to Elders past present and emerging and stand in solidarity with all First Nation peoples, and recognise their continuing connection to Land, Waters and Culture.

Always was, always will be.
